Why I Created The Empowered Menopause Program

Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of training and helping women from all walks of life and abilities. My personal mission as a trainer has always been to help each client achieve their goals, become a confident exerciser, and live a healthier life.


Understanding My Clients’ Challenges

A significant portion of my clientele—about 90%—are not comfortable in gyms, don’t have a sports background, and aren’t confident when it comes to lifting weights. Over the last five years, I’ve noticed a recurring pattern among many of my clients. They’ve come to me with symptoms such as:

  • Fatigue

  • Weight gain around the midriff

  • Achy joints

  • Mood swings and low moods

  • Tearfulness


Often, they felt despair, unsure of what was happening to their bodies. Many wondered, “Is it too late to start getting fit?”


Recognising the Symptoms

When I realised these clients were experiencing perimenopausal symptoms, I knew I needed to help. This led me to deepen my knowledge about training during the menopause transition and how nutrition can improve symptoms and overall health.


For many clients, this involved:


  • A complete lifestyle and self-care overhaul.

  • Switching from cardio to resistance training.

  • Learning how to eat better to support their changing bodies.


At the heart of it all was regaining confidence through movement and training.



Success Through Tailored Support

Seeing the success of my menopause-specific training programs and nutrition plans has been incredibly rewarding. However, I wanted to support more women facing these challenges.

Women at this stage of life often juggle countless responsibilities—family, work commitments, and caring for elderly parents. Social life often takes a back seat, leaving many feeling isolated while navigating perimenopause.


Introducing the Empowered Menopause Program

To address these challenges, I created the Empowered Menopause Program. This program provides:


  • An online community of women experiencing similar challenges—a safe space to share experiences, encourage one another, and support each other.

  • Guidance on leading a healthier lifestyle through tailored training and nutrition plans.

  • A focus on connection to help women feel less alone and more empowered during this transitional phase of life.


 

Our Mission

The aim of the Empowered Menopause Program is simple:

  • Help women lead healthier, happier lives.

  • Ensure a smoother transition through menopause and beyond.


No one should feel alone during this journey. Together, we can build strength, confidence, and connection.
